We work on most headlights on the market, from a blackout to a full projector retrofit. Because housings are opened here every day, ONEighty is also where owners bring a light with condensation, a cracked tab or a failing DRL module. Restoring the original unit, correctly sealed, is almost always the better outcome.

Style Your Headlights
Blackouts, custom paintwork and the LED designs that put ONEighty on the map.
Blackout
Blacking out the inside of a vehicle's headlights instantly changes the look. Most headlights have a lot of chrome inside, and many have an orange reflector. We bake open the headlights, disassemble all the parts inside and paint them individually. The result is a sleeker, more aggressive look, and a great complement to black wheels and other blacked-out trim.
Custom Paintwork
When a blackout isn't enough, a custom color inside the housing ties the headlights to the rest of the build. It might match the brake calipers, the body color or an accent on the wheels. Every headlight is different, so the surfaces that can take paint vary by vehicle.
LED: ORB Rings
ORB LED Rings is our term for LED "Angel Eyes" or "Halos." Commonly found on BMWs from the factory, the style was adopted by enthusiasts and is now manufactured for all makes and models. Our LED rings are made to our specs in different sizes so we can offer them universally. They are 6000K white with a frosted lens over the LED board for a cleaner look.
LED: Iron-Man
The Iron-Man LED modification is what put ONEighty on the map. We designed and named this mod in 2008 for the Infiniti G37 Coupe when it was first introduced, and it quickly became a must-have. It consists of 8 or 10 super-bright individual LEDs placed around the projector shroud. We offer it for a select few vehicles depending on the size and shape of the shroud. LED: Iron-Man Style ORB Rings
ORB LED rings customized to look like Iron-Man LEDs. The concept is to give the appearance of individual LEDs forming a circle on cars that can't accept the regular Iron-Man mod. We use our ORB rings and stencil out single LEDs by concealing the remaining sections with paint.
LED: RGB Demon Eyes
"Demon eyes" is a term we coined back in 2010 when we started putting colored LEDs inside G37 projectors, eventually moving to RGB. ONEighty RGB demon eyes are some of the brightest and most reliable on the market. We can install them in any projector and even some reflector bowls. Connect to our Bluetooth controller and change the colors from an app. They run off an independent harness to the battery, so they work even with the vehicle off.
LED: BMW Ring Replacement
BMW's original designs are great, but even those get outdated. Aftermarket LED rings replace the OEM angel eyes with a more modern look and make your BMW stand out from the rest on the road.

Projector Lens
Most OEM projectors come with "fresnel" lenses that have lines, circles or distortion on their surface and are often not optically clear. That dims output and softens the beam pattern. A true clear lens maximizes the projector's performance compared to the de-tuned stock lens. Where possible, we install clear projector lenses for more light output and a sharper cut-off line.
Projector Retrofit
If your headlights don't have projectors, or the ones they have perform poorly, we can retrofit an aftermarket replacement for better light output. There are excellent LED and Xenon options in different sizes depending on your vehicle. Going from halogen to a powerful projector makes a world of difference, and seeing the road should be a top priority for safety.
Bulbs
For headlights or fog lights, we have HID and LED solutions to make them brighter. We can upgrade halogen bulbs to xenon or LED depending on the application, or upgrade existing HID bulbs to brighter, whiter aftermarket bulbs. Bulbs that are 5+ years old are near the end of their life and should be replaced for optimal brightness.
Repair & Maintenance
Headlight restoration, resealing and rebuilding for lights that have seen better days.
Lens Refinish
Headlights get worn and rock-chipped over the years. Our full outer lens restoration is a deep wet-sand, buff and polish followed by a new layer of UV clear coat, which removes fine scratches, fading and yellowing. For lasting protection against new chips we can add clear protection film on top.
Lens Replacement
If the outer lenses are cracked or beyond refinishing, they can be replaced on select models where original or aftermarket outer lenses are sold separately. The housing, internals and electronics stay original; only the damaged lens is renewed, then the unit is resealed.
Reseal
Condensation is very common and has many causes: the seal gets old, there's a crack, somebody worked on the lights before, or the lights are prone to it from the factory. We inspect, clean out the moisture and reseal the headlights with new glue.
Damaged Housing
Been in an accident? We can plastic-weld and repair broken or cracked headlight housings. Tabs can be reattached or replaced, and wiring and harnesses can be fixed as well.
